Olive Oil
Piccolo Pisano extra virgin olive oil is a cuvee, created from the delicious olives of our five Tuscan varietals. The olives are grown in Pleasant Valley, on 4 acres adjacent to the winery, as well as down the valley at the Murrer Family Farm. The fruit is hand picked in late November and immediately milled, using a cold press process. The handcrafted oil is natural, with no filtering or fining. The flavors are pure and robust, with a smooth, peppery finish.
Following in the footsteps of the family’s Italian heritage, the Pisano Sisters (Marguerite Nicholson and Linda Murrer) have named the oil in memory of their father, Nicholas Pisano, who was the youngest of his family, the “littlest Pisano.”
Olive Oil tasting is available at the winery in December. Oil availability is very limited and it sells out quickly. Prices range from $18 to $28. If you are interested in our olive oil production, please call the winery and add your name to our “Olive Oil Request List”.
